NOTIFICATION FOR FREE COACHING TO ORIENTATION ON GROUP-I & GROUP-II

Applications are invited from eligible candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for free orientation on Group-I & Group-II Examinations to be conducted by APPSC.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. The candidates family income shall be less than Rs. 1.00 Lakh per annum
2. The candidate shall be a Graduate and he/she eligible for appearing Group-I & Group-II to be conducted by APPSC.
3. Those candidates who possess the qualifications mentioned Sl.No.2 and who have completed their courses between the years 2007-2012 only shall apply.
4. No person who is already working in any post in any cadre is eligible for this coaching.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The selection process of the candidates for the coaching programme is as follows:

1. Selection process is based on merit in the written test to be conducted by the Study Circles, an objective type entrance examination of the lines of APPSC of Group-I & Group-II General Studies Model for selection of candidates.
2. The seats are allocated to the candidates of different categories as follows: BC-66% (including Muslim categorized under BC-E), SC-20% and ST-14%.
3. Reservation to physically challenged and women is 3% and 33^1/3% respectively within the categories indicated in Para (2) above.
4. Marks and suitably being the same, un represented BC community candidates, Physically Challenged and Women candidates are preferred in the same order.
5. The candidates who have already availed of the same coaching earlier from any SC/ST/BC Study Circles in the state are not eligible to take coaching once again.
6. Transfer Certificate shall be submitted to Study Circle and the same will be retained in the Study Circle during the coaching period.

This is a non residential programme for 3 months conducted in A.P. Study Circles for BCs located in Districts depending upon enrolment/demand and availability of faculty.

The entrance examination will be conducted on 24-03-2013 at 11:00 AM and the last date for submission of online applications is on 22-03-2013 upto 5:00 PM.

The eligible candidates shall apply through online website: https://apbcwelfare.cgg.gov.in along with scanned copies of Caste and Latest income certificates issued by the Tahsildar, Educational Qualifications (SSC, Intermediate, Graduation & PG) with latest photograph.
