OPEN MARKET RECRUITMENT
to posts for Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-With reference to the employment notification issued by Railway Recruitment Cell,
Secunderabad with No. RRC/SCR/Group-D/1/2012 dated 17.08.2012 inviting applications from the
eligible candidates for 1250 erstwhile Group-D posts. The criteria for Physical Efficiency Test
(PET) as given in Para 6.6 of the above notification is revised as under:
For male candidates
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000
meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one
chance.
For female candidates
Should be able to run for a distance of
400 meters in 3 minutes and 10 seconds in one
chance.
The candidate’s who wish to apply for the posts mentioned in employment notification with the revised criteria can apply for the posts notified vide this office employment notification No.
RRC/SCR/Group-D/1/2012 dated 17.08.2012. All other conditions/instructions remain same.
The last date for submission of their application will be 17.12.2012 at 17.00 Hrs.
NOTE: The candidates who have applied earlier in response to the notification
need not apply.
The Para 4.3 may be read as: The application should be sent by post so as to reach this
Office on or before the closing date and time mentioned above. The filled in applications can
also be dropped on or before the closing date and time in the boxes kept for the purpose at:
“WRITTEN EXAMINATION CONTROL CENTRE”,
