Note: (i) There may be slight additions or deletions in the above vacancies notified.
(ii) All the posts are reserved in favor of local Scheduled Tribes only. The rule of special
representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to, Physically
Challenged, Ex-service Men and women among Scheduled Tribe is applicable as per
Rules and rule 22 of Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules as amended
from time to time.
(iii) The rules issued from time to time by the Department of Disabled Welfare on 1) Age
relaxation 2) Minimum percentage of disability and 3) allocation of roster points for General
and women among Scheduled Tribe candidates will be applicable.
(iv) Local Scheduled Tribe candidates (those who have been certified by the competent revenue
authority as per the conditions laid down in (GO Ms.No.3) will only be considered for
selection and appointment against the vacancies in Scheduled Areas (Scheduled area), as
per Article 342 of the constitution of India i.e for the vacancies notified in annexure–I. In case
of any dispute arises in determining the bonafideness of any candidate as a local Schedule
Tribe, a thorough enquiry will be conducted by the competent authority and appointment of
such candidates will be kept withheld till his/her bonafideness is proved beyond any doubt.
(v) Notified vacancies are subject to variation, in such case the selection of the candidate will be
cancelled at any time.

(SMPC) Department dated 09.08.2010, G.O.Ms.No.45, S.W.
(T.W.Ser.III.1/A1 Dept. Dated 28.6.2011 and G.O.Rt.No.554
(T.W.Ser.III.1/A1 Dept. Dated 15-07-2011and G.O.Rt.No.887, dt:03-
11-2011, Social Welfare (TW.Ser.III/A1) Department, applications are
invited from the candidates (who have QUALIFIED IN TET only) for
selection to the post of teachers in Tribal Welfare Educational
Institutions in the Scheduled area of the District. Interested Local
Scheduled Tribe candidates alone are required to submit their
applications in the prescribed form on any day from 16-07-2012 to
28-07-2012 to the Dy.Director (TW) in ITDA Districts, and Project
Officer,ITDA, Srisailam, in respect of Mahaboobnagar District
where he/she would like to seek selection. Candidates who desire to
apply for more than one post based on their eligibility shall have to
submit separate applications for each post.

3. Method of Recruitment: The Recruitment shall be through a selection process. The
selection shall be based on the merit list prepared against 100 marks for each candidate.
(a) Out of 100 marks 20% shall be for the marks secured in APTET
Paper –I & II (as the case may be) proportionately (For example:)
(1) if a candidate secured 150 marks out of 150 he/she will begiven weightage as 20 marks.
(2) if a candidate secured 100 marks out of 150 he/she will begiven weightage as 13.33 Marks.
(b) Out of remaining 80 Marks,
(i) 50% (against total marks) shall be for the marks secured in the qualifying examination of the graduation of Part II only, of which, 30 marks for main subject (i.e. subject of the post) and the balance 20 marks for ancillaries of remaining two subjects.

(For example:
Example 1: If a candidate studied B.Sc. (MPC) and applied for School Asst.(Maths) the marks secured in Maths for all the three years shall be taken as main subject and weightage will be given proportionately.

Example 2: if a candidate studied B.Sc.(Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and applied for a School Asst. ( Physical Science), the subjects of Physics and Chemistry will be the main subject and the Maths will be the ancillary subject.)
Example 3 : if a candidate studied B.A. with two of the following subjects as optional one of them as a main and the other one as a subsidiary subject - i) History; ii) Economics; iii) Geography; iv) Political Science; v) Public Administration; vi) Sociology; vii) Commerce.
(ii) The remaining 30% (against total marks) shall be given to the training qualification as a weightage against the marks secured proportionately.

4. Qualifications:
(i) A candidate for selection to these posts shall possess academic and professional/ Training
qualifications as mentioned as case may be in Rule 3, Annexure II of A.P.State
T.W.Subordinate Service Rules, issued in G.O.Ms.45 S.W.(TW.Ser.III/A.1)Dept. dated
28.6.2011 read with G.O.Ms.No.51 School Education (SE.GENL.II) Department, dated
16.4.2011.
(ii) TET qualification is prescribed to all the categories of posts.
(ii) The certificate issued by an Institution/University shall not be taken into consideration if thesaid institution/ University do not have Permission/Recognition of NCTE/UGC respectively
as per Law.

I. School Assistants:-
(i) School Assistant (Mathematics): Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics
as the main subject OR one of three equal optional subjects and a B.Ed degree with
Mathematics as a methodology subject. The certificate or degree awarded to Single Subject
candidates shall not be regarded as equivalent to Bachelors Degree.

(ii) School Assistant (Physical Sciences): A Bachelors Degree with Physics and
Chemistry as optional subjects or one of the two as main and the other as
subsidiary/ancillary Subject and a B.Ed. Degree with Physical Science / Physics / Chemistry
as a methodology subject.

(iii) School Assistant (Biological Sciences): A bachelors Degree with Botany and Zoology
as optional subjects or one of the two as a main and the other as a subsidiary subject and
Bachelor of Education Degree with Biological Science or Natural Science/Botany/Zoology as
a methodology subject.

(iv) School Assistant (Social Studies): A Bachelors Degree with two of the following
subjects as optional one of them as a main and the other one as a subsidiary subject - i)
History; ii) Economics; iii) Geography; iv) Political Science; v) Public Administration; vi)
Sociology; vii) Commerce and a B.Ed Degree with Social Studies / Geography / History /
Social Sciences as a methodology subject.

(v) School Assistant (English): A Bachelors Degree with English as the main subject or
one of the optional subjects or a Post Graduate Degree in English and a B.Ed Degree with
English as methodology subject or Post Graduate certificate in Teaching of English or Post
Graduate Diploma in Teaching of English.

(vi) School Assistant (Telugu): Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main
subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental
Language in Telugu (B.O.L) or its equivalent or a Post Graduate Degree in Telugu and B.Ed
with Telugu as methodology Subject or Telugu Pandit Training or its equivalent.

(vi) School Assistant (Hindi):
(a) Academic qualifications: Must possess Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the
full elective subject or Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) or
Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara
Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA
degree Standard) or Post Graduate Degree in Hindi and along with any one of the
following training qualifications.

(i) Language Pandit (Telugu) Gr.II: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with
Telugu as the main subject or one of the three equal optional subjects or
Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Telugu (B.O.L) or its equivalent
or a Post Graduate Degree in Telugu and B.Ed with Telugu as methodology
or Telugu Pandit Training or its equivalent.
(ii) Language Pandit (Hindi) Gr.II:

(iii) Secondary Grade Teachers: Intermediate certificate issued by the Board
of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh and Diploma in Education
Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations,
Andhra Pradesh or Mus t posses a Bachelor Degree and Bachelor o f
Education.
NOTE: (1) The candidates who have passed SSC Examination in
the concerned medium or with the concerned Language as First Language are eligible
to apply to the posts in the concerned medium or the candidates who have passed the
examination of Higher standards in the concerned first language / medium are also
eligible to apply to the posts in that medium.

(2) Candidate with higher qualifications may also be eligible for selection,
Provide he/she studied the required subjects for the posts he/she applied at
Bachelor degree level.
Example1: A candidate who intends to apply for the post of SA(Biological
science) should have studied both Botany and Zoology subjects either at graduation
level or one of the above two at graduation level and the other subject at Post
graduation level.
Example2: A candidate who intends to apply for the post of SA (Social
Studies) should have studied at least one of the following mentioned subjects at
graduation level and the other at Post graduation level. Either at graduation level or one
of the above two at graduation level and the other subject at Post graduation level.
i) History; ii) Economics; iii) Geography; iv) Political Science; v) Public

(3) As per Govt., Memo. No.18103/Ser.VI-1/2005, Dated. 03-10-2005 and
as per Government.Memo.No.14276/Ser.VI/2008-1, dated.01-12-2008 the Single
subject Certificate holders of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad / any other
University are also not eligible to apply for any category of teacher post.
(4) The certificates issued by the institution / University are not accepted if
the said institution / University does not have Permission / Recognition of NCTE / UGC
respectively.
(5) The candidates with M.A (Education) are not eligible for any category of
teacher posts in DSC-2012 as per Government Memo.No.14276/Ser.VI/2008-1,
dated.01-12-2008.
5. Age: Applicant must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed
the maximum age 44 years as on the 1st day of July 2012. However in case of Physically
Challenged candidates the maximum age limit is 49 years.
Upper age for Ex-service Men - A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian union, shall
be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and also three
years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.
6. Loca l Tribe : As per explanation given in G.O.Ms.No.3 SW (TW.EDN.II) Dept. dated 10.1.2000, the
Local Scheduled Tribe means, the candidate belonging to the Scheduled Tribes notified as such
under article 342 of the Constitution of India and the candidates themselves or their parents have
been continuously residing in the Scheduled areas of the Districts in which they are residents till to
date since the 26th January, 1950.”
7. How to Apply:
(a) Printed application forms may be downloaded through online ( http://twsis.cgg.gov.in) or
available with the office of DD, TW concerned ITDAs and PO, ITDA Srisailam in respect of
Mahaboobnagar district from 15-07-2012 to 28-07-2012 (both days inclusive)
(b) Applicants should fill the application carefully, with his/her own handwriting.
(c) The applicant must enclose the following to his/her application.
(i) Attested copies of Memorandum of Marks and Pass Certificates of the Educational
Qualifications prescribed to the post.
(ii) Attested copy of Date of Birth Certificate (SSC or its equivalent certificate).
(d) Attested copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed proforma
issued by Tahsildar
(e) Attested copy of the Local Tribe Certificate issued by the competent
authority of Revenue Department in support of their claim as a Local
Tribe in the format enclosed the application form.
(f) Attested copy/copies of the study certificate(s) from the heads of
Institutions for classes IV to X (S.S.C) or copies of the residence
certificate as a proof of local candidate in case of the candidate who
has not studied in any recognized school during the whole or any
part of the Seven year period ending with his/her appearance for the
first time for class-X (S.S.C) or equivalent examination.
(g) Attested copies of certificates of proof of visually Handicapped
/Hearing Impaired / orthopedically challenged as the case may be.
(h) Apart from pasting a latest black and white passport size photograph
on the application form, every candidate should submit 3(three)
latest black and white passport size photographs.
(i) Three (3) self addressed envelopes of size 10”X4” each with stamps
worth Rs 5/-.
(j) Service certificate obtained from the District Sainik welfare officer of
the concerned District shall be submitted in case of Ex-servicemen if
he claims the relaxation of age and reservation for selection under the
Ex- servicemen quota. The Ex-servicemen who are drawing pension
are only eligible to claim Ex-serviceman quota.
(k) Applications without all the relevant enclosures will not be
accepted and will be rejected.
(l) INCOMPLETE / INCORRECT AND LATE APPLICATIONS WILL SUMMARAILY BE
REJECTED AND NO FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN THIS
REGARD. APPLICATION SENT TO ANY AUTHORITY OTHER THAN THE
DY.DIRECTORS (TW) IN ITDA DISTRICTS AND PROJECT OFFICER, ITDA, SRISAILAM
IN RESPECT OF MAHABOOBNAGAR DISTRICT SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
8. Receipt of Application : The filled in applications can be submitted in person to the Deputy Director
(TW), of ITDA concerned and P.O, ITDA, Srisailam in respect of Mahaboobnagar District,on all
working days between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm on or before 28-07-2012 by duly taking
acknowledgement and preserve for future use.
9. Origina l Certificates for verification : All the original certificates shall be produced by the
candidates for verification at the time of submission of applications. Applications of the candidates who do not produce the original certificates for verification will be rejected summarily. The candidate who produces a bogus degree or other certificate will be liable for prosecution besides other action as per rules. Mere acceptance of an application either inadvertently or otherwise shall not exonerate the applicant for submitting bogus certificate.

10. Appointment: Every selected candidate will be initially appointed by the concerned appointing authority as apprentice teacher for a period of 2 (Two) years from the date of appointment. During the period of apprenticeship, he/she will be paid a monthly stipend prescribed by the Government from time to time. On satisfactory completion of the period of apprenticeship, he/she will be appointed to a regular post with a regular scale of pay. Selected candidates will be required to join duty within 30 days from the date of receipt of the appointment order. The Government Orders issued from time to time are applicable in this regard.

11. DEPARTMENT ’ S DECISION TO BE FINAL : The decision of the department pertaining to the
application and its acceptance or rejection as the case may be conduct of counseling and at all
consequent stages culminating in the selection or otherwise or any candidate shall be final in all
respects and binding on all concerned under the powers vested with it. The department also
reserves its right and modify regarding time and conditions laid down in the notification for
conducting the various stages upto selection duly intimating details thereof to all concerned as
warranted by any unforeseen circumstances arising during the course of this process.
