  • The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established Rajiv Gandhi University
    of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 to cater to the educational needs ofthe meritorious rural youth of Andhra Pradesh with headquarters at IIIT CampusGachibowli, Hyderabad. Three campuses of RGUKT (fully residential) were started
    under the University in the year 2008, one each at Basar( Adilabad Dt), Nuzivid
    (Krishna Dt), Rajiv Knowledge Valley ( YSR Kadapa Dt).
    2. The RGUKT invites applications from retired Professors/Associated
    Professors/Assistant Professors/Lecturers/Principals of reputed
    Universities/NITs/IITs/colleges etc.for appointment as Visiting Professors/Visiting
    Faculty on contract basis, apart from recruitments for fresh and in-service
    professionals through rolling advertisements, in the following Departments of the
    RGUKT as per the UGC guidelines for re-engagement of the superannuated faculty
    and also as per GOMS No.40 dated 28.06.2012 of Higher Education (UE_II)
    Department , Govt. Andhra Pradesh.
    (a) Engineering Departments: ECE, CSE, Civil Engineering, Mechanical
    Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy & Material Engineering,
    Electrical Engineering etc.
    (b) Non-Engineering Departments: Management, Physics, Mathematics,
    Chemistry, English and Psychology.
    3. Period of Contract: one Academic year extendable up to three years or
    attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier subject to satisfactory
    performance and requirement.
    4. Essential Qualifications:
    (a) Engineering: First Class Degree at Masters Level in the respective
    disciplines. The candidates with Ph D are preferred
    (c) Non-Engineering: First Class Degree at Masters Level in the respective
    disciplines with Ph.D.
    5. Pay Package: The consolidated pay of the selected candidates will be
    fixed as per guidelines issued by UGC/Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to
    time taking into account of their last pay drawn as per Last Pay certificate
    minus net pension drawn as on the date excluding the commuted portion of
    the pension as per Pension Payment Order. Accommodation will be provided
    in the respective campuses subject to availability.
    5. How to apply: Application form is available in www.rgukt.in. Candidate
    should submit the application through online and the printout of that
    application with relevant copies of certificates including copies of Last Pay
    Certificate and Pension Payment Order may be sent to the REGISTRAR,
    RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY of Knowledge Technologies, Vindhya-C4, IIITHyderabad
    campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad – 500032, A.P on or before

    6. Intimation: No separate call letters will be sent to the candidates. The list of
    eligible candidates and schedule of interviews will be put up on the RGUKT
    website www.rgukt.in .
    7. Joining: Selected candidates will be informed and they are expected to
    join immediately.
